      I have my HCL ME model: Y2 tablet. Android 4.0.3

      My problem is >> when I open my tablet it hangs on its LOGO (ME inside a circle) how could I fix this problem.. Other said I need to reformat my tablet. I already do this kind of solution:
      REFORMAT >> I press the vol. - and power then the android logo appears, after that there's a menu I choose "wipe data/factory reset" thet it says:
      --Wiping data...
      Formatting /data...
      Formatting /cache...
      Data wipe complete.

      then I choose from the menu "reboot system now" after it reboot it power on BUT AGAIN IT STILL HANG ON ITS LOGO. Please help me what can I do do fix this problem.

      here is the direct link for hcl Y2 just download it and unzip it to your memory card and then insert it to your tablet and boot it in recovery mode.thats it.

      I tried both this link and the option form there website both are failing in between not sure whats the problem. I am on a very high speed n/w which is quit reliable but 4 time i tired and it broke in between has any one able to download that ?

      I was able to to download latter in the night and was able to flash my rom it all worked well, though the the top part of my screen is not responding... not sure whether its the rom problem or my HW has any issue. its also giving false touch response in that area.

      Has any one faced this problem

      It again got freeze in the boot screen after leaving by tablet on overnight with HCL_Y2-2_2012-07-20 ROM. but alteast now i have a ROM to flash but all my data and installed files got erased

      Here you go,download and make it to zip and then copy it to memory card,and boot it in recovery.it's ligal image file which has given by hcl support service.do it

    I think i have solved this boot hang problem.

    Solution :

    format the internal hard disk with SDFormatter.
    provide the FULL ERASE and ADJUSTABLE SIZE option

    Intially when i did the format, then i got it working for more than 5 days without any hangs. Then unfortunately i installed the touch screen on, then it started hanging.

    actuall the problem, which i feel is a bootlogo in the infinite loop.

    There was detailed resoultion for this in the droidforums, which i missed to book mark. when i followed it. HCL ME logo disappeared and Android standard boot logo appeared.

    This problem is solve.
    see below.
    use "SDFormatter".

    SD Formatter formats Flash so that the performance of a Flash can be pulled out to the utmost.
    When formatting a Flash, it recommends strongly using not the format tool attached to an operating system but this SD Formatter.
    Although the format tool attached to an operating system can generally format various recording media containing a Flash, It may not be optimized by the Flash and performance may fall from the case where SD Formatter is used.

    so, procedure is below (now "SDFormatter" is windowsOS only).

    01. Download "SDFormatter" from this link -> HERE
    02. Install "SDFormatter"
    03. Enable "USB Debugging Mode" from Developer Options in settings.
    04. Connect your tablet to PC (USB).
    05. Then, tap the "USB Strage Mode" to connect to PC.
    06. Backup data on INTERNAL_SD card.
    07. Run "SDFormatter".
    08. Specify the drive letter of INTERNAL_SD in SDFormatter and click "(Option)" button.
    09. "FORMAT TYPE" select "FULL OVERWRITE" and set "FORMAT SIZE ADJUSMENT" to "ON" and click "OK"
    10. Now click "FORMAT" and wait for the procedure to complete. (Can take approximately 1 hour 40 minutes)
    11. After format is completed you can recopy the backup files back onto the INTERNAL_SD
    12. HAVE FUN !!

    probably this act is effective in all the China tablets.
    this storage faster effect is in all the tablets I own.

    but the recovery has some problems that it cannot mount neither sd card nor ext card and it is a temporary recovery it changes into stock recovery in every boot......

    I have installed original rom in y2 but it stuck on boot logo.i have tried it with cmw but nothing benefitted. Sometimes when i upgrade it and reboot it, it stuck on boot logo for 10 s and it automatically get into android recovery . Please help...

    Can you help me? I'm stuck in a boot loop(or somthing like hang/briked) because I think I accidentally apply wrong storage mounting between external sd to sd which is not match with my rooted device(HCL ME V-2 TAB).

    I am trided different recovery process as switching on/of and volume up/down keys but cannot access recovery mode because there is no custom recovery image. .
    Notes: the device doesnt show anything after animation of mfrs. logo
